There is also the Hand grenade, grass hopper, milk punch and gin fizz, just to name a few. Some of them are very good, the others very sugary.

A: The contiki hotel is located on a main road just on the edge of the french quarter. It is easy to get to the main touristy areas and easy to walk to from the main drinking spots.

A: It can be fine or it can be rainy. It is also near the coast and near swamps, so it can be muggy. Be prepared.

A: Yes you can, but it is best to do it on or near bourbon street, where all the drinking takes place.
