Q: In Poland,
heading for Warsaw, do you stop to see the Black madonna?
A:
With contiki, heading from Krakow to warsaw you make a few stops. One
of these is at Częstochowa, where there is the Black madonna. You
get time to go up and see it. The coach parks nearby, you walk up to
the church following the crowds and can see in inside. You stay about
45 mins to 1hr here. There are a few shops nearby and the grounds of
the church are nice to walk in.
Q: What happens on the night that
contiki arrives in Warsaw?
A:
This is a long driving day with lots being seen on the drive to the
city. You get into the hotel after 7pm. Your tour manager might take
you down to the trams and get you into the main square to find
dinner. However there are other places to eat around the hotel area.
It will also be a quiet night.
Q: In warsaw, what is included on
the contiki driving tour?
A:
Some of the Jewish quarter things, some parks, the main square and
some of the historic areas of the city. You get to drive past some of
the interesting buildings as well.
Q: In warsaw, on the night in the
city on contiki, what happens?
A:
You spend your day doing the usual sightseeing, then come back to the
hotel, relax. You then all meet up and go to the last dinner – this
is included, there is alcohol included here, from dinner you will
head out on the town having drinks and saying goodbye.
