Q:
Disneyland Paris... Can you buy your tickets online beforehand?
A:
There apparently isn't much of a difference either way, but the
Disneyland website occasionally offers decent specials. You can also
get them from a travel agent or just buy them on the day, no
problems.
Q: What are
some good things to see in or outside of Paris?
A:
Disneyland, Eiffel tower, Louvre, Rodin museum, Notre dame, shop,
Versailles, Luxembourg gardens. There are plenty of museums as well
as shopping and eating. You can also look up some pretty cool walking
tracks along the Seine to do. You should go up to Montmartre and
visit Sacre Coeur.
Q: How long
does it take to get from London to Paris by coach?
A:
You leave London between 6am and 7am, with luck you should be over in
Calais by 10 – 11am. By the time you get to Paris and get to Accommodation it should be around 5pm, depending on traffic. There is
also the hour lost as you cross the channel.
Q: What
happens on the free day in Paris?
A:
You have the day free in Paris. After breakfast you can get the coach
into the city and it will drop you off at a certain point and pick
you up later that day from there. You then have the whole day to
explore. Later if you want you can meet the group at the coach and
depending on time, the coach will head back to the accommodation so you
can get ready for the night, otherwise you can change on the coach
and then take it to the optional dinner followed by the caberate,
then usually you go to a bar before catching a taxi back. It is a
busy day, but fun
Q: Is the
paris pass worth it.
A:
If you are going to be in Paris 2 nights, therefore 1 full day, it is
not worth it, but if you have 3 nights here or go back by yourself,
then purchase it, you may get some use out of it. It also depends on
what you want to see.

Rouge, worth the money ?
A:
Most people would say yes. Contiki also offers another cheaper one
with concept tours, that is good as well. You get comedy boobs,
dancing, magic and boobs and champagne.
Q: At Dover,
heading to Calais, what happens ?
A:
This is when you first start your tour, you drive down from London,
the tour manager picks up tickets for the ferry, you may wait around
a bit, then you may have to go through the border and get your
passport stamped. From here you then board the ferry.
Q: Where is
the secret entrance to the Louvre?
A:
It is not really a secret entrance, just an entrance that not many
people use. The main entrance is under the pyramid, but head to the
river side of the building, walk down the street a bit. You will soon
come across some lion statues, there is an entrance here. However it
is not always manned and therefore may be closed. But if you can get
in, it is a way to skip the pyramid area.
Q: In Paris, where is the famous
bridge of locks?
A:
First of all, what is it? This is just a bridge that has thousands of
locks that symbolize peoples love for each other. It used to be that
this was the only place, but now it is spread to other bridges around
the world. However if you still want to see it, it is just down the
road from the Lourve, heading to Notre dame. You can't miss it.
Q: Is it possible to stay in Paris
after the Contiki tour finishes?
A:
Some tours start in Amsterdam and finish in Paris. From Paris the
tour is done, the only thing left is to head back to London, however
if you want to stay in Paris, that is fine, you just need to let your
tour manager know and organize accommodation.
Q: In Paris, does contiki visit
Versailles?
A:
Depending on the tour, but yes. If you are on a tour that is 3 nights

get the Paris pass if im doing a tour that goes through Paris?
A: Generally a
tour will be here 2 nights, but by the time you get here, you have

for at least 3 days then you should get it, for doing a tour, you

Paris weather like in summer?
A: It is
generally warm, with a bit of cloud. But usually nice days, nice
