Contiki FAQ San Francisco

Q: In San Francisco, is it easy to ride or walk over the golden gate bridge?
A: This is very easy. Start in Fisherman's wharf, follow the signs and soon you are at the bridge. Follow the path onto the bridge and travel across it. It is a fairly flat ride, except heading up to the bridge. Once on the bridge, it can be very windy, but there are some good views. From the other side, head into the town a few km's down the road, that is the hilly part or head back. Once at the small town, grab a coffee or ice cream while waiting for the ferry to get across the water. It is a good way to spend a few hours.
