Contiki FAQ - St augustine and KSC.

Q: What happens when you get to St Augustine on a contiki tour?
A: You get to St Augustine late in the day – about mid afternoon, as you have spent the morning at the Kennedy space center. You drive through town and stop at the hotel. That night is an included dinner at a place across the road from the hotel – usually pizza. After this is free time. There are a few bars nearby, or you can take the short walk into town to other bars. There are also ghost walks in town as well. But there are no organized contiki activities this night.

Q: What happens at the Kennedy space center with Contiki?
A: You arrive at the Kennedy space center with the group, you tour manager gets you tickets and then you have free time to do as you like. There is the bus tour of the site, down to the Apollo centre, where there is also some food options. There is an imax, a chance to see one of the shuttles, shops to buy various things, the rocket gardens and some other bits and pieces. You get a few hours to explore, make the most of it.

Q: In St Augustine, are there ghost tours that you can do with Contiki?
A: St Augustine, one of the oldest cities in the USA, has lots of history about ghosts. Contiki does not offer ghost tours here, but you can do one with a small group or by yourself. It is an interesting night activity.
